Lawrence W. Gordnier,Jr., "Junie" of Elmira, passed away Sunday December 24th 1995. Son of Lawrence W. and Josephine Gordnier.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years Mary Helen (Sayles) Gordnier; daughters, Abbe (David) Balch of Watkins Glen, Carole (Vincent) Collins, Pine City; four grandchildren; sisters, Lois (Frank) Hinman of Galeton, PA, Donna (Douglas) Chase of Bath, NY. several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his brother, Donald Gordnier and this year his Aunt Rachel Gordnier.
He was a veteran of USMC having served in the South Pacific with the 2nd Marine Division Anti Tank Unit during WWII from Nov 1942 -Dec 1945.
He was a member of Riverside Methodist Church and retired employed of American LaFrance.
Olthof Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
