Mrs. Jeanne Parker

Mrs. Mary Jeanne Parker, 50, a resident of San Saba since 1948, died at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 10, in San Saba Memorial Hospital.

Services were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 12, in Howell-Doran Funeral Chapel, conducted by Dr. R.C. Tennison and the Rev. Albert Brown. Burial was in High Valley Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Owen Parks, T.A. Davenport, Wallace Hinyard, Dean Bagley, Jack Miller, Put Watkins, Jess Askey and Chet Garvin.

Mrs. Parker was born July 17, 1924 in Dallas, the daughter of John G. and Gertrude Brock Chancey, and married E. Worth Parker June 13, 1945 in North Carolina. She was a housewife and a Baptist.

Survivors include her husband; one son, David Worth Parker of San Saba; a daughter, Cynthia Jeanne Mays of College Station; a sister, Mrs. Ruth Hall of Jacksonville, Fla. and one granddaughter, Alicia Anne Parker of San Saba.
