Services Thursday for J. Francis Archer :
Funeral arrangements for Francis Archer of Doddsville, who died yesterday at the St. Francis Hospital will be held at the Doddsville Church at 2 p.m. Thursday.
The Rev. Ray Heilborn of Littleton and the Rev. Harris A. Stuerner of Macomb will conduct the services. Burial will be in the Doddsville Cemetery.
Archer was born Dec. 1, 1903, in Doddsville, to Frank and Martha ( Crossan ) Archer. He lived all his life on the same farm with the exception of a few years in Macomb. He was employed all his life as a farmer. He was a member of the Doddsville Methodist Church for many years.
He married Nellie V. Gay June 9, 1926. Surviving are his widow, and two children, Mrs. Martha Elliot of Macomb and Franklin Archer of near Doddsville.
Friends may call at the Archer residence near Doddsville. The Clugston Funeral Home is in charge of services.
