FLORA — Lowell Pemberton, 70, of Flora died at 6:15 a.m. Sunday, April 29, 2012, at West Park Rehabilitation Center, Evansville, Ind.
Mr. Pemberton was born June 25, 1941, in Flora, the son of Roy Leo Pemberton and Betty Jean (Porter) Pemberton.
He was a former teacher and coach for Flora Unit 35 schools. He was a member of First Christian Church of Flora, was a diehard Bears fan and Flora Wolves fan, a member of National Humane Society, NRA and past member of Odd Fellows of Flora.
Survivors include his brother, Earl (Marcia) Pemberton of Brownstown; and sister, Diana Pemberton of Flora.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Cremation rites will be accorded.
Memorials may be made to Mike Pemberton (White Field Ministries) or Flora Sports Booster Club.
