Mr. Pemberton was born June 25, 1941, in Flora, the son of Roy Leo Pemberton and Betty Jean (Porter) Pemberton.
He was a former teacher and coach for Flora Unit 35 schools. He was a member of First Christian Church of Flora, was a diehard Bears fan and Flora Wolves fan, a member of National Humane Society, NRA and past member of Odd Fellows of Flora.
Survivors include his brother, Earl (Marcia) Pemberton of Brownstown; and sister, Diana Pemberton of Flora.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Cremation rites will be accorded.
