Death came very suddenly to Mrs. David Timmons, who before her marriage was Ida Alice Baggy (Daggy), late last night at her home, two miles north of Stockwell. The cause of death was probably organic heart trouble and the coroner was summoned to hold an autopsy. Mrs. Timmons was born in Clinton county 49 years ago and had spent her life in Clinton and Tippecanoe counties. She had lived in her late home three years.
Mrs. Timmons was an earnest member of the Methodist church at Stockwell and was a woman of high character. Besides the husband she leaves two daughters, Mrs. Blanche Yundt, of Mulberry, and Mrs. Grace Snider, of Colburn, and one son, Verne, who is at home, survives.
Note: She also leaves two sisters, Mrs. Smith, of Mulberry, and Mrs. Ada Stain, of this county, and one brother, Willard Baggy (Daggy). She also had a brother, Elmer E. Daggy, born 2/26/1866, who likely predeceased her.
Deceased was a daughter of George and Minerva Baggy (Daggy). The funeral will be held from the home at 2 o'clock tomorrow afternoon, with the Rev. C.H. Leeson officiating. The body was prepared for burial at the Baker undertaking parlors at Dayton.
