JEANNETTE - William T. Jury, 66, of Clearfield, died Tuesday, June 17, 1997, in Westmoreland Regional Hospital, Greensburg.

Born Dec. 31, 1930, in Frenchville, he was a son of the late Norman I. and Ora Merat Jury.

Prior to his retirement, he was employed as a heavy equipment operatior for Al Hamilton Co. in Clearfield. He was a member of the Church of the Nazarene in Clearfield and was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

He Was a member of the Mosquito Creek Sportsman's Club in Frenchville and the American Legion.

He is survived by his wife, Vera Loughner Jury; a son Steven M. of Clearfield; two daughters, Shirley R. Narehood of Clearfield and Colleen J. O'Leary of University Park; and a grandson, Cody Narehood.

Also surviving are seven sisters: Irene D. Plubell, Leona A. Picard, Beatrice R. Picard and H. Olive Plubell, all of Frenchville, Maida M. Hubler of Morrisdale, Genevieve G. Johnson of New Oxford, and Sandra J. Clarkson of Greensburg.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Larry; and two brothers, Edward I. and Emerson K.

Services for Mr. Jury will be held 11 a.m. tomorrow at the James E. Lindsay Funeral Home Inc., Main Street, Harrison City, with Rev. Martin R. Koss officiating.

Freinds will be received today from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the funeral home. Intermant will follow in Twin Valley Memorial Park, Delmont.
