Joyce Raley Bellamy, 80, of Pine Bluff died Wednesday, May 26, 2010 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center.

She was born September 10, 1929 in Pine Bluff, daughter of James Frederick and Cora Lee Adams Raley.

Mrs. Bellamy was reared and received her early education in Pine Bluff, graduating from Pine Bluff High School in 1947. She attended Texas Christian University.

She was a member of First Christian Church, where she sang in the choir. Mrs. Bellamy loved to call church members and their extended family on their respective birthdays and sing Happy Birthday. Joyce and her husband, Allan, loved the Foretravel Motor Home Club and traveled for many years in their beloved motor home.

Mrs. Bellamy was a loving homemaker, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Frederick Wayne Raley and great-grandson, Noah Allan Bellamy.

Survivors include her husband, Allan H. Bellamy, Jr., whom she married October 23, 1948 in Pine Bluff; two daughters, Lee Bacus and her husband, Frank of Hendersonville, Tennessee and Melissa Abernathy and her husband, Scott of North Little Rock; son, Allan H. Bellamy, III and his wife, Cheri of Texarkana, Arkansas; eleven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 29, 2010 at First Christian Church with Reverend Mike Snell officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery by Ralph Robinson & Son Funeral Directors. Visitation will be Friday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Robinson's.
