Mar. 20, 1812 Russellville Logan County Kentucky, USA
Nov. 27, 1880 Danville Boyle County Kentucky, USA
Civil War Confederate Brigadier General. His brother was Union Major General Thomas Leondias Crittenden. Was not a successful commander, and resigned his commission in October 1862. His grave in the State Cemetery can be difficult to find, because his name on his marker is illegible. He is buried in the family plot, Section N, Lot 198, with a small stone marker on which only his dates of birth and death are legible.

In memory of my 4th cousin, 7x removed (through your maternal Lee side of the family). We don't judge your decisions, but honor your beliefs, and for your military service. Rest peacefully in God's Kingdom. -
