David and Hope were survived by their daughter Peggy Pinkston of Española; son Daniel Talley of Los Alamos; 6 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; David's brother Vallon Talley of Palisade, Colorado; Hope's brothers: Finis and Marvin; many cherished nieces, nephews and other loving family & friends.
David moved with his family to Claunch, NM in 1935. Hope had also moved to Claunch with her family about the same time. They were married on March 10, 1937. Hope was a member of Valley Chapter of the Order of Eastern Star.
Memorial services were held on April 28, 2012 in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel at DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory. Interment was at Santa Fe Memorial Gardens.
