David, a native of Red Rock, Texas and a resident of Espaņola, New Mexico; was predeceased by his parents James M. Talley, and Helen Purcell Talley; brothers: Lloyd, Claudy, Albert, Curtis and Wayne; and sisters: Vera and Fay. His wife Hope survived him by 3 days.
David and Hope were survived by their daughter Peggy Pinkston of Espaņola; son Daniel Talley of Los Alamos; 6 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; David's brother Vallon Talley of Palisade, Colorado; Hope's brothers: Finis and Marvin; many cherished nieces, nephews and other loving family & friends.
David moved with his family to Claunch, NM in 1935. Hope had also moved to Claunch with her family about the same time. They were married on March 10, 1937. David was a member of the Local #412 Plumbing and Pipefitters Union for over 60 years. David was also a member of the Valley Masonic Lodge AF & Am since 1950's and a member of the Valley Chapter of the Eastern Star, and the Shrine Club.
Memorial services were held on April 28, 2012 in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel at DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory. Interment was at Santa Fe Memorial Gardens.
