Civil War Union Army Officer. Served during the Civil War as 1st Lieutenant and Regimental Quartermaster of the 22nd New Jersey Volunteer Infantry.

"Brevet Capt. US Vol. Entered service September 22, 1862. Mustered out July 18, 1865. Under Gen. Lott's staff.

In 1842 Uriel left Titusville, NJ to attend Lafayette Collge in Easton, Pa.

In business at Marble Hill, MO 1866-74; in Trenton,NJ in 1842.
