Funeral services for George L. Jurgensmier, 44, of 2803 Artesian Road, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home and at 10:30 a.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, where he was a member. He died Wednesday, July 21, 1982.

The Rev. Alois Van Beek will officiated, and burial will be in Ledgeview Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call from 3 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

He was born Feb. 22, 1938, at Campbellsport, a son of Erhart H and Cecilia J. Loehr Jurgensmier. He married Gloria L. Penman on Oct. 13, 1956, at St. John's Catholic Church, Byron.

Mr. Jurgensmier was employed by Fred Rueping Leather Co. for 18 years and was a foreman for the past 11 years. He was a member of Eagles Aerie 270.

Surviving are his wife; a daughter, Christine at home; two sons, Steven E. of Fond du Lac and Matthew M. at home; his stepfather and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Blake of Route 1, Brownsville; two brothers, Norbert of Route 1, Oakfield, and Ronald of Fond du Lac; a sister, Mary Ann Jurgensmier of Route 1, Brownsville; and a step-brother, Daniel E. Blake of Valders.
