Obituary:
George B. Neff of 2933 Pine avenue, died at 12:05 o'clock yesterday noon in Mercy hospital where he had been a patient since Dec. 30, after an extended illness. He was born in Indiana county March 7, 1882, a son of T. Webster and Clara May (Johnson) Neff, and was twice married. His first wife was Sadie Cole and his second Lola Rodgers. Surviving are a daughter born to the first marriage, Mrs. Beulah Baker of Washington, D.C.; two sons, Max of Altoona and Robert of Buffalo, N.Y.; five grandchildren, four brothers and one sister, Lawrence M. of Reno, Nev., John E. of Pittsburgh, Guy T. of Phoenix, N.Y., R.A. of Altoona and Mrs. Minnie Kunow of Greenbush, Mich. Mr. Neff was of the Baptist faith and a retired boilermaker of the East Altoona enginehouse. Friends are being received at the Axe funeral home.
