Boyd E. Clifton Died Monday
---Boyd E. Clifton, 59, Route 1, Tekonsha, died Monday afternoon at Oaklawn hospital where he had been a patient for the past week. He was a crop farmer in Tekonsha township having retired form Crowell Carton Co. in 1955.
---He was married to Elizabeth Coffey, Jan. 6, 1928 and moved to Battle Creek from Rutledge, Tenn. in 1933. He was a member of the West Eckford United Missionary church.
---Survivors include his widow; two sons, Jerry Clifton, Route 4, and Jack of Grand Rapids; two daughters, Mrs. Richard (Jean) Varner, Tekonsha, and Mrs. Allen (June) Maybee, 348 North Linden; 16 grandchildren, and five brothers and three sisters.

Funeral services for Boyd E. Clifton, Route 1, Tekonsha, who died Monday afternoon at Oaklawn hospital, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday at the Court funeral home. The Rev. George D. Murphy, Detroit, will officiate and interment will follow in Floral Lawn Memorial Gardens, Battle Creek. Friends who wish may call at the funeral home.
