Mr. Albert Junior Brown, 80 of Hope, Arkansas passed away, Monday, September 26, 2011 at his home. Mr. Brown was born March 29, 1931 in Hempstead County to Jimmy Lee and Bertha Mae Ellen Ratcliff Brown. He was a member of Harvest Baptist Church in Hope, a veteran of the Korean Conflict and a retired maintenance department employee for Hempstead County. Mr. Brown is preceded in death by his parents, his wife of 54 years, Betty Ruth Record Brown, a daughter; Linda Diane Brown, two brothers and one sister.

Survivors include, son, Alan Scott Brown and wife, Yucha of Lawton, Oklahoma, daughter; Vickie Rook and husband, Jim of Midlothian, Texas, one sister; Betty Heald of Hope, six grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends, 6:00 to 8:00pm, Wednesday, September 28 at Brazzel/Oakcrest The Funeral Home of Hope.

Graveside service, 2:00pm, Thursday, September 29, 2011 at Ayers Cemetery in Hope. Burial to follow. Bro. Oliver McKamie will officiate the service. Arrangements are under the direction of Brazzel/Oakcrest The Funeral Home of Hope
