George Turnbaugh of 706 Newport drive, Baldwin township, Pittsburgh, a native of Altoona, died at his home last Thursday.

He was born in Altoona, a son of John A. and Catherine (Wyerman) Turnbaugh. Mr. Turnbaugh had resided in the Pittsburgh district for many years, being a member of the Brookllne Board of Trade and treasurer of the Brookline Building & Loan association.

He was president and treasurer of St. Mark's Evangelical Lutheran church and a teacher of the Men's Bible class. He was also secretary of the Allegheny County Sunday school association, active in the young people's organizations, the Lutheran league and the Boy Scouts.

Mr. Turnbaugh was a past master of Dormont lodge, F. & A. M.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Harriet (Becker) Turnbaugh; two daughters and one son, Mrs. Althea Frederick of Miami, Fla., Phyllis, at home, and Raymond of Philadelphia; two step-daughters, Mrs. Ross Schwartz and Mrs. Elizabeth Matthews; five grandchildren, and four brothers, John of Duncansville, Charles of Edgley, N. D., James and Frank of Altoona.

Interment was made Monday in Allegheny County Memorial
park.
