"On Monday evening about five o'clock at the hospital in Eau Claire, Mrs. Henry Anaker of the town of Auburn departed this life, after an illness of about two weeks. Death was due to blood-poisoning. She was taken to the hospital at Eau Claire about ten days before her death, but failed steadily until the end.
Mrs. Anaker, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Gick, was born in Dane county thirty two years ago, and came here with her parents when seven years of age. She was married sixteen years ago next month to Henry Anaker, who, with three children, father, mother, five sisters, and one brother, are left to mourn her sad death..."
