Mrs. Daisy Brunette Nunley, widow of S.H. Nunley, died at Medical Clinic Sunday morning at 4:45 o'clock, following an illness of three years. She was 76. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock at Mt. Zion Methodist Church. John W. High officiated and burial was in Mt. Zion cemetery. A native of Warren county Mrs. Nunley was born January 28, 1877. She was a daughter of Seldon Huntley and Willie Ann Le Mustin Huntley and she was a member of the Church of Christ. Her husband died March 16, 1948. She is survived by one son, Will Nunley, McMinnville; three sisters, Mrs. Etta Walker, Scottsboro, Ky., Mrs. Edna Morrow, Huntsville, Ala., and Mrs. Myrtle Bonner, Beersheba Springs. Also one brother, Will Huntley, Beersheba Springs. High Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.(Per Southern Standard)
