Christopher P Day, age 60, Harrisburg, passed away on Tuesday, April 10, 2012. Born July 6, 1951 in Carlisle, he was the son of the late Paul C. Day and Kathryn (Baltimore) Day. Chris graduated from John Harris High School in 1971 where he won the National Scholastic Art Contest. He is best known for his extraordinary artwork that has touched the lives of many. He is survived by his son Christopher Paul Day and wife Christina of Jacksonville, FL; his step-daughter Tammeron Cobb and husband Kevin of Harrisburg; his sister, Crystal Battle and husband Rick of Harrisburg; his brother Lance Day of Palo Alto, CA; as well as his niece April Day and nephew Lance Day. A memorial service and funeral will be held at Fort Indiantown Gap National Cemetery at 2:00 PM on June 1, 2012. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Indian College Fund P.O. Box 172449 Denver, CO 80217-9797
