Darlene attended Plattsburg High School. She traveled with her parents and siblings, working as migrant workers, in her younger years. She met and married her husband in Liberty, Missouri. From this union, a son and a daughter were born. She leaves her loving husband, her children and grandchildren as well as many other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
