Eliza arrived in New York on Sept 17, 1851 having departed from Londonderry, Northern Ireland aboard the Mohongo. The information is from the Irish Immigrant Records 1846-51 found on Ancestry.com. She later answered the 1900 census questions about immigration history. Her occupation was to be servant. Her death certificate reports her father's name was John MOONE and mother's name was unknown.
By 1860, she and Michael Fitzpatrick are married and living in Louisville, KY where he is a student and they have personal property valued at $4000. In the 1900 Census, Louisville KY, Michael reports his occupation as a grocery man, 3 sons, George, Emmett and Richard, are still members of their parents household. Their daughter, Adele and husband William, live next door with their children George Emmett age 2 and Margaret, age 1. The address is 1200 Delaware Street, Louisville, Jefferson Co, KY.
She and Michael had a number of children: George E., Richard, Charles Emmett, Thomas, Dennis and Adele. Adele Fitzpatrick Brown signed as informant on her mother's death certificate. Eliza was widowed. Michael died somewhere between 1903 and 1910.
