Harvey E. Perrine
Died in Montana
Word reached relatives here a few days ago that Harvey E. Perrine was seriously ill at his home at Cut Bank, Montana. His father, John R. Perrine, of this city, and brother, Wm. Perrine, of Aurora, left at once for the western city, but while enroute a wire was received by W.E. Perrine of this city notifying the relatives of his death. His illness has extended for a period of a month.
The remains reached this city yesterday and the funeral service will be conducted at two o'clock this afternoon, probably from the Masonic Temple.
The deceased was a member of the Masonic order at Downers Grove, Ill., and the last sad rites will be according to the Masonic ritual. For many years he was a competent employee of the Burlington Ry. Co., in the train service.
He was born in Pine Creek township fifty years ago and is survived by his father, John R. Perrine, two brothers, Walter E. Perrine, of this city, and William Perrine, of Aurora, and two sisters, Mesdames Bert Spoor and Thos. Hill, of this city.
Ogle County Republican, March 15, 1917.
Last Thursday the remains of Mr. Harvey Perrine, of Cut Bank, Mont., were placed in Mt. Zion cemetery, by members of the Masonic order of Oregon.
