She attended Sowers and West Bethlehem schools.
Mrs. Doty was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking and baking for her family.
She and her husband ran their family farm for more than 40 years, and she enjoyed baling hay and tractor riding in her younger years.
Mrs. Doty was a member of Pleasant Hill Presbyterian Church in Ten Mile.
On April 20, 1935, she married Ralph W. Doty, who died April 25, 1978. Deceased, in addition to her husband, are twin children, Ralph Duane and Ruth Elaine Doty, who died in infancy; and three brothers, Roy Hainer, Blaine Hainer and Herschel Hainer.
