IN MEMORY OF OUR LITTLE MAX
He was sent to us from heaven, our darling baby boy, brought happiness and pleasure, and filled our hearts with joy.He was bright and intelligent, with eyes of shining blue, and he loved his Daddy and Mama with a little heart so true.He would care for baby brother and carry in the wood, go to the store for Mother and help Daddy all he could. He grew to be a little man, was near the age of four,we were so proud of him ,more than we'd been before. But God saw fit to take him from earth to Heaven again, left us sad and lonely, filled our hearts with pain.It was hard to see him go, one we dearly loved. But it's wrong to grieve too much, for there's a better place above. We know he's happy there, from sin and sorrow free, spotless with the angles and content as he can be.Yes, he is waiting for us and faithful we must be.We must live to meet him.We long his face to see. And while we're filling our mission on this earth below,he's happy with the Savior safe from all harm we know.Yes,we will be determined to walk in the narrow way, so when our lives are ended and we no longer stay. We'll go worthy to meet our treasure in those Heavenly courts on high, where none will mar our happiness and our loved ones will not die.
