Eunice (Coatney) Mattingly Long of Sallisaw was born Thursday, April 25, 1918 and passed away Saturday, April 14, 2012 in Sallisaw at the age of 93. She is survived by two daughters: Mary Lou Brewer and Opal Mosby both of Sallisaw; four sons: Bill Mattingly of Topeka, Kansas; Leroy Mattingly of Wichita, Kansas; James Mattingly of Coyle, Oklahoma and Ronnie Mattingly of Sallisaw, Oklahoma; Several step-children; grandchildren; step-grandchildren; great grandchildren and great step-children. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Gus Mattingly; two children, John Frank Mattingly and Baby Girl Mattingly and her second husband, Everett Long. She married Gus May 29, 1937, from this marriage eight children were born and he died December 28, 1959. She married Everett Long September 27, 1977 and he passed January 31, 2001. Service will be held April 18, 2012 at Mallory Chapel. Interment will be at Akins Cemetery. Pastor Tommy Noel will officiate.
