Obituary, THE RECORD, Kitchener, Ontario Nov. 21, 2003 BOWMAN, Erma (nee Shantz) - Peacefully, at Fairview Mennonite Home, in Cambridge, on Thursday, November 20, 2003, age 91 years. Beloved wife for 57 years of the late Tobias Bowman, who predeceased her December 22, 2001. Loving mother of Gloria Bowman and (Maurice) of Collingwood and Erla Scott of Kitchener. Erma will be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, Lisa and Ryan Scott. Also mourning Erma is her sister Grace Bowman of St. Jacobs. Erma was predeceased by her parents, Lydia Ann Cressman and Uzziah Shantz, a grandson Jason Scott in 1973 and brothers Claude (in infancy) and Leonard Shantz. Friends are invited to share their memories of Erma with her family at Fairview Mennonite Home, 515 Lang's Drive, Cambridge on Friday, November 21, 2003 from 2-4 p.m. Visiting will continue on Friday evening from 7-9 p.m. at the Edward R. Good Funeral Home, 171 King Street South, Waterloo. A service to celebrate the life and faith of Erma will be held on Saturday, November 22, 2003, at 1 p.m. in the chapel of the funeral home with Rev. Mark Bolender officiating. Interment to follow in Memory Gardens. Following the committal service at the cemetery, friends and relatives are invited to the Reception Room of the funeral home for refreshments and a time to visit with the family.
