Mrs. Mary C. Taylor, whose illness has been mentioned, died at the home of her son, W. C. Overton, the first day of May and was buried at Equality the 2nd. Rev. W. A. Grant officiated at the funeral services.

SMALLHOUS
Mrs. Mary Overton Taylor, who died at her home near Hopewell May 1st, was brought to Equality the following day for interment. After funeral services by Rev. Grant at the Baptist church her remains were laid to rest by the side of her first husband, in what is known as Aunt Nellie's burying ground.
Mr. Chester Overton, Mr and Mrs. Englar, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Cummings, Mr. and Mrs. Englar, Jr., and several others from near Hopewell attended the funeral services of Mrs. Mary Taylor.
