CHARLES A. PRESCOTT JR. Charles Amund Prescott Jr., 74 of Merlin died Wednesday, April 21, 1993, at his home. Family services were held with Hull & Hull funeral directors in charge of arrangements. Private internment will be at Granite Hill Cemetery. Prescott was born Sept 22, 1918 in Portland. he had lived in the Rogue Valley for the past 15 years. For many years he worked in the timber industry as a faller. Survivors include two sons Thomas Prescott of Yacolt Wash. and Charles Prescott lll of Grants Pass: three daughters Penny Larson of Lander Wyo. Christine Prescott of Corvallis and Nancy Kohanes of Lowell; one brother John Prescott of North Bend seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
