Services for Mrs. Emilou Hester Eatherly, 45, Rt. 4, (Newstead Road), will be at 2 p.m. Friday in the chapel at Henninger Funeral Home with the Rev. A.D. Van Hoose officiating and burial in Riverside Cemetery.

Mrs. Eatherly died early this morning at her home after an illness of about a year.

A native of Stewart County, Tennessee, she was born June 28, 1929, daughter of the late Ellis Eatherly and Mrs. Eva Shemwell Hester, who lives on the Newstead Road.

Mrs. Eatherly was the widow of Arnold Eatherly, who died in 1972, and was a member of the Presbyterian Church.

In addition to her mother, survivors include tow daughters, Mrs. Myers Southall and Mrs. Dan Knox, both of the city; a son, Mark Eatherly, the home; and six brothers, Floyd Hester, Evansville, Ind., Ural, Russell and Glenn Hester, all of the city, and Vernon and Leon, both of the county.
