Shera Camille Arango died April 11, 2012 from complications due to kidney failure. Born April 9, 1943 in Miami, Florida, she lived in Ogden for the majority of her life.
She was a third grade teacher until her retirement in 2002. Mom loved her dogs, loved painting and loved cooking. Mom was an avid sports fan; she especially rooted for her Alma Mater, Florida State, and the Miami Dolphins.
Mom had a tremendous sense of humor. Her personality drew people to her and she had many loyal friends.
Our mother and her family want to extend our deepest gratitude to all the people who have helped and supported her through her long battle with kidney disease.
We were fortunate to be with Mom when she passed peacefully at her home and we take comfort in the fact that she is now free from her suffering.
She is survived by her four daughters, Melinda, Valerie, Lisa and Samantha. She is also survived by her 11 grandchildren, plus one to be born later this year.
