Beverly A. Masters, 76 of Greensburg, passed away April 12 at her residence with her family at her side.
Beverly was born in Rushville on August 7, 1935, and was the daughter of the late Denzel and Pechie (Whitehouse) Sweet. She married James R. Masters September 8, 1980 and he preceded her in death on August 7, 2003.
Beverly was a homemaker who cherished her family. She loved to garden and loved to watch for hummingbirds.
Beverly's memory will be forever cherished by three daughters, Ellen Linville Clark of Greensburg; Teresa L. Phillips of Affton, MO, and Jane A. Held Of Phoenix, AZ; and three sons Richard (Pat) Garrison of Buena Vista; Larry (Sandie) Garrison of Greensburg, and Brandon (Jenny) Masters of Greensburg. Beverly is also survived by two sisters, Ruth Dickey of Connersville, and Mary Collins of Milroy, three brothers, Jim (Betty) Sweet, John Sweet, and Bill (Alita) Sweet all of Rushville. Several grandchildren and several great grandchildren will miss her dearly.
Beverly was preceded in death by daughter Karen Baker, two brothers Phillip and Tom Sweet, and 3 sisters Sue Eldridge, Donna Fight & and Wilma Coffey Logan.
A Celebration of Life will be held 1 PM on Monday, April 16, at Todd Funeral Centre & Crematory in Rushville, with Pastor Troy Caudill officiating.
Burial will follow at Clarksburg (IN) Cemetery.
