David Alan Jones, 58, loving husband, father, PawPaw, brother, and Uncle Bubba passed away April 12, 2012.
David was employed with The University of Houston for the past 10 years. He loved playing the guitar and enjoyed listening to a wide variety of music. He loved a good joke and if something was broke....he could fix it.
David is survived by his loving wife, Marye Jones; his two sons, Jason A. Jones and Eric A. Jones; his two grandsons, Caleb A. Jones and Dylan A. Jones; sister, Rhonda Pomeroy and husband David; brother, Jimmy Keith Jones and wife Mary; his aunt, Bettie Anne Jones, and also by numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ward and Hazel Jones, and by his brother, Rickey Jones; also by his aunts and uncles, Mary and Neil Phillips and Evelyn Jones Rife and husband, Jack.
Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m., Friday, April 13, 2012, at Rosewood Funeral Home, Pasadena, Tx.
Funeral service honoring David's life will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, April 14, 2012, at South Main Baptist Church, Pasadena, Tx., with Dr. Ron Lyles officiating. Family Graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Sunday, April 15, 2012, at Mexia City Cemetery, in Mexia, Tx.
