"Mrs. W. Frank Keyser Passes Away Sunday - Services Tuesday For Social Leader At Christian Church"
"Mrs. Agnes Dalby Keyser, wife of W. Frank Keyser, 1004 West Fourth, died at 5:30 o'clock Sunday morning. She had been in ill health for the past several years. Mrs. Keyser was born in Sedalia, the daughter of John N. and Lucy A. Dalby and spent her entire life here.
Her father near the turn of the century was president of the Third National bank and was also connected in various business enterprises. Her husband is chairman of the merit system board for the state of Missouri and formerly was secretary of the Missouri Bankers' association for a long term of years.
Mrs. Keyser was a member of the First Christian church and active in Sorosis, the Helen G. Steele Music Club, the Sedalia Country club, the American Red Cross and the Girl Scouts. From the time she was a little girl her greatest pleasure was in doing something for people when she knew they were in need, and it made no difference to her who it was she helped. She worked untiringly in the interest of the Melita Day Nursery and other similar organizations.
Surviving besides her husband are two brothers Waller C. Dalby of Paris, Ky., who has been at her beside this past week and John R. Dalby of El Paso, Texas, who will arrive Tuesday. Preceding her in death were her parents, two brothers George L. Dalby, who died in Circle Hot Springs, Alaska, a few years ago; Nelson Dalby and one sister, Lucy Dalby.
Mrs. Frank N. Dalby of Paris, Ky., accompanied her father-in-law Waller C. Dalby to Sedalia. A nephew of Mr. Keyser, Lt. Col. Frank H. Fristoe,, who is with the army stationed in Labrador, is en route here for the funeral. Funeral services will be held at the First Christian church at 4:00 p.m. Tuesday with the pastor, the Rev. David M. Bryan, officiating.
The pallbearers will be David Thomson, Emmett Hurley, Tom Cloney II, E. P. Neef, C. E. Messerly and Frank Hayes. Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery.
