Funeral service for Mary Lou Allen of Ada, OK will be 2:00 pm Friday, February 24, 2012 at Smith-Phillips Funeral Home in Ada, OK. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Ada, OK. Officiating will be Mr. Lance Huntsman.

Mrs. Allen passed away Tuesday, February 21, 2012 at Valley View Regional Hospital in Ada, OK at the age of 72. She was born May 16, 1939 in Eufaula, OK to William Andrew Jackson Hale and Lula Ruth Wheaton Hale. She married Frank Allen on September 11, 1992 in Ada, OK. Mr. Allen passed away on May 19, 2007.

Mrs. Allen worked as a Certified Nurses Aide for numerous years and she loved bowling and the outdoors.

Mrs. Allen is survived by two daughters, Mary Farris and husband Jason of Ada, OK and Ann Trevilion and husband Ronny of Miller Grove, TX; four sisters, Willie Sharrah of Van Buren, AR, and Rosie Dorado, Edith Parkin, and Lola Van Allen all of California; and nine grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Frank Allen; her parents, William and Lula Hale; and five brothers.

Bearers: Ronnie Harper, Darrick Carlos, Cody Lewis, Nathan Strawn, Nathanyl Doss, and Bobby Ginnis.
