Paul Gene Bentley, 70, of Hahira died Saturday, April 7, 2012 at Memorial Hospital of Adel. He was born on November 19, 1941 in Dorton, Kentucky to the late Ermon, Sr. and Mabel Belcher Bentley and had lived in Hahira for most of his life.

Mr. Bentley was a 1962 graduate of Hahira High School.

He was a faithful member of the Adel Church of Christ.

Survivors include his sisters and brother-in-law, Bitha and Vernon Luze of Millington, TN., Beatrice Binion of Valdosta, brother and sister-in-law, Ermon, Jr. and Elizabeth Bentley of St. Augustine, Fla., brother-in-law, Dixon Sinclair of Adel, nieces and nephews, Teresa Luze Purdon, Ermon Lee Bentley, Greg Poole, Tammie Welch and Neal Dixon Sinclair, several great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Vivian Gay Forte and Sharon Sinclair.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Tuesday, April 10, 2012 in the chapel of Martin/McLane Funeral Home in Hahira, GA with Mr. Roger Leonard officiating. Burial will follow in Riverview Memorial Gardens in Valdosta, GA.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 12:00 pm until service time at the funeral home.
