Florian Torres Chavez, a 50-year resident of Mountainair before moving to Albuquerque 11 years ago, passed away Thursday, February 22, 1979, in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
He is survived by: five daughters, Sally Muzzy, Mary Phorman, both of Albuquerque; Maria A. Stoy, Mountainair; Beth Malm, Boston; and Margaret Brandstatter, Huntington Beach, CA; two sons, Louis and Jessie Chavez, Albuquerque; two sisters, Trinidad Sandoval and Manuelita Serna, both of Albuquerque; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
