Erling O. Olson, 74, Rt. 1 Wheeler, died Monday, July 18 at Luther Hospital in Eau Claire.
The son of Anton and Bertha (Skurdal) Olson, he was born June 2, 1914 in the Town of Sheridan. He married Helen Klefstad Aug. 31, 1940 at Sand Creek.
They farmed in the Town of Sheridan until he retired in 1979. He also worked for the Dunn County Highway Department from 1960 - 67.
He is survived by his wife, Helen; two sons, Dennis and Donald, both of Wheeler; two daughters, Diane Rooker, Blaine, Minn., and Pat Bygd, Prairie Farm; 14 grandchildren.
Funeral services were held July 20 at United Lutheran Church, Prairie Farm, Rev. Oz Twedt officiating and burial in Vanceburg Cemetery, Town of Sheridan.
Arrangments were with the Miller-Rausch Funeral Home, Dallas.
