Bert E. Isbell, 70, of West Salem, died Monday, Jan. 17 at his home.
He was born April 13, 1906 in the Town of Farmington to Mr. and Mrs. James Isbell. He married Edyth Delaney June 16, 1942 in La Crosse. He was presently employed by Kathan Lumber Co. of Onalaska.
Survivors include his wife, two daughters, Marilyn of La Crosse and Janice living at home; one son, Dennis living at home; two sisters, Mrs. Cora Michaels of Tomah and Mrs. Donald (Vera) St. Jacque of French Island; one brother, Elmer of La Crosse, and one half-sister, Lilah Hoelser of La Crosse. He was preceded in death by one son, Michael, and two half-brothers.
Funeral Services will be Thursday at 2:00 p.m. in the Jostad Funeral Home, West Salem, Rev. E. John Harle officiating. Burial in the Neshonoc Cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Those serving as pallbearers are: James Isbell, Robert Isbell, Harold Isbell, Robert Kathan, Ronald Rosson and Leonard Kolbo.
