Harley Berry, age 68, of Staples, passed away peacefully in the comfort of his home on Sunday, December 19, 2010 . Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM Monday, December 27, at the Staples Christian and Missionary Alliance Church with Pastor Mike Picconatto officiating. Interment will be at a later date. Friends may call beginning at 1:00 PM Monday at the church.

Harley was born on May 21, 1942 , in Aitkin , MN , the son of Kling and Grace (Torgerson) Berry . He grew up in the Aitkin area and attended school there. Following his marriage to Sandra Kay Johnson they made their home in Minneapolis where he was self employed in construction and the roofing business. He also had a hobby farm and auto repair business. In the mid 1980's they moved to Cambridge , MN , and then 8 years ago to Staples. Harley very much enjoyed spending time with family and friends and watching his old Western movies. His quick wit and bright smile will be missed by many.

He was preceded in death by his wife Sandra; parents, Kling and Grace; brothers, Mick, Roger, Dick, Kling Jr., Robert and sisters Joanne and Betty. Harley will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered by his children, Wilburt Johnson Berry and Timothy (Rebecca) Berry ; sister, Verna; grandchildren, Heather, Selena, and Jennifer; great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
