A native and resident of Maringouin, Louisiana, Michael Wayne Sproles, Sr, died Friday, March 14, 2008, at his home. He was 60. Interment was in St. Joseph Catholic Church Cemetery, Grosse Tete. He was survived by three sons, Michael Wayne Sproles Jr and wife Britt, Kenneth Allen Sproles and wife Lisa Ann, and Greg L. Sproles and wife Lisa Raquel; a sister, Margie Hatfield; three brothers, Kildren, Willie and Charles Sproles; nine grandchildren, Jamie Lyn Bayham, Ashlyn Nicole Sproles, Karli Marie Sproles, Jasmine Lee Sproles, Chad Allen Sproles, Jarrett Lee Sproles, Chase Michael Sproles, Michael Wayne Sproles III and Malachi Joseph Sproles; and companion, Betty Lou Perritt. He was preceded in death by his wife, Rose Lee Walls Sproles; parents, Jesse L. and Ollie Kinison Sproles; and a brother, Jesse L. Sproles Jr. (Wilbert Funeral Home, Plaquemine, La, served the family).
