Memorial services for Clarence Wesley Blalock, 61, of Palestine, Texas will be at 10 am Monday, April 9, 2012, at Memory Lane Missionary Baptist Church with Dr. Edward Davis officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Herrington/Land of Memory Funeral Home. Mr. Blalock died Thursday, April 5, 2012, at Greenbrier Nursing and Rehab Center in Palestine. He was born October 6, 1950 to Aarlton Anderson Blalock and Mildred Richardson Blalock. He had lived here for 15 years coming from Fairfield. Mr. Blalock worked in construction until his retirement. He enjoyed old western movies, particularly John Wayne, and spending time with his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter, Regina Blalock. Mr. Blalock is survived by 2 sons, 3 daughters, 3 sisters, 18 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren.
