Anthony E. Pocetti, 83, of Hyde Park, died Friday, April 6, 2012, in Allegheny Valley Hospital, Natrona Heights. He was born Oct. 13, 1928, in Vandergrift, a son of the late Ralph Pocetti and Mary (DeMichele) Pocetti. Mr. Pocetti was employed as a baker for 34 years, retiring in 1987 from Kummer's Bakery in Tarentum. Following his retirement, he and his wife, Betty, had owned and operated the Leechburg IGA Market for eight years. An Army veteran of the Korean War, he was a member of Christ the King Parish in Leechburg. Mr. Pocetti enjoyed woodworking, traveling, baking and gardening. Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Elizabeth A. "Betty" Pocetti; two nephews, Joseph (Karen) Zaccagnini, of Allegheny Township, and Nicholas (Kelly) Pocetti, of Ford City; four nieces, Roxyann (Anthony) Mandak, of New Kensington, Gloria (Michael) Whitehair, of Arvada, Colo., Lisa (Robert) Klaric, of Vandergrift, and Maria Zaccagnini, of Vandergrift; several great-nephews and great-nieces; and a one great-great-niece and -nephew also survive. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son in infancy, Christopher Pocetti; brothers, Dominick, Rocco and Nicholas Pocetti; and a sister, Theresa A. Zaccagnini. Friends will be welcomed by his family from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday in CLAWSONS, 170 Main St., Leechburg, 724-842-1051, where parting prayers of transfer will be held at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday followed by a Christian Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in Christ the King Parish, Leechburg, with the Rev.
