I am a descent of William Spencer yeoman and Alice Lightfoot (daughter of John Lightfoot who came to Jamestown in 1609) by there daughter Elizabeth Spencer Sheppard Warren. This link below helped me realize there were two William Spencers in Jamestown the other being Ens. William Spencer of the "Susan Constant" his daughter was Sarah. He and his wife were slain in 1622 as reported by John Smith. Info provided by contributor, Pamela
