When she was in high school, she lived with her Grandmother, Clara. She did all the chores, shopping, etc. Later on in life, she became a teacher. She taught both in the country and in the city. She enjoyed teaching in the country more, though.

She and Red would dance, a lot! They were both excellent dancers and would dance around the living room during holidays. They also taught all the kids to dance as well.
