Hickman, Mar. 4, 1921;

Mrs. Hanna Offer who died this week at Hickman had as her descendents 113 children-grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was born July 25, 1831 in Hanover Europe and was two years old when her parents came to America and located in Franklin Coounty, Missouri. She was married at the age of nineteen to J M Fieselman. To this union were born two sons and one daughter. Her husband died and she became the wife of Fred Offer who died April 27, 1891. Ten children were born to them of whom eight are living. The children who survive are Henry Fieselman, Hickman; Frederick Fieselman, Hickman; Will Offer, Campbell, Nebraska; Minnie Kling, Hickman; Louis Offer, Coeur d'Alene, Idaho; Mary Berk, Lincoln; Edward Offer, Lincoln; John Offer, Hickman; Sophia Fischer, Hickman; Benjamin Offer, Hickman; Frank Offer, Hickman; Two children, August Offer and Anna Marie Grote are dead. Those children are the parents of seventy four, fifty of whom are living and the grandparents of thirty-seven living grandchildren. Mrs. Offer would have lived in Nebraska 39 years had she lived until Tuesday, March 1. The homestead was located two miles south of Hickman in a sod house. Two weeks ago Mrs. Offer was stricken at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Mary Berk. She asked to be taken to her home at Hickman where she died at 7 a.m. Thursday. She made her home with her daughter Mrs. Kling. Mrs. Offer would have celebrated her ninetieth birthday next July. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. from the Hickman church, Rev. Julius F. Schwartz, D.D., officiaciating. Dr. Schwartz was a neighbor, friend and pastor of Mrs. Offer in Missouri where all her children were born, and the early part of her married life spent. He was called to Hickman vicinity five years ago. He is the pastor of the Presbyterian church there. The pall bearers will be the unmarried grand-sons, John Fieselman, Walter Fieselman, John Berk, Arnold Berk, Adolph Fischer, and Bart Offer. Mrs. Offer was practically head of her large family as her husband suffered sunstroke after the civil war and was in poor health until his death. Mr. Swartz says the family always attended religous services except when ailing which was very seldom.
