|Jacob Frederic Free, Sr|
|Learn about upgrading this memorial...|
|Birth: ||Jan. 23, 1810|
|Death: ||Sep. 10, 1888|
Note: Burial at this Cemetery has NOT been confirmed.
The Cincinnati Enquirer Sept 11, 1888 lists a brief obit. stating he died at home in Bromley. No further information regarding his death, funeral or burial has been found.
It is likely he was buried in the Gardner-Harris Cemetery as his residence was only 2 blocks away. Also, this is the only cemetery shown on a Bromley map from this era.
I am hoping that someone will find this memorial in a search and will have more information on his funeral and burial.
Jacob was married to Catherine (Fritz) Free and was the father of Mary Ann, Jacob F. Jr., John William, George Marcus and Edward Carel Free. He immigrated from Wuerttemburg, Germany and lived in Pennsylvania before moving west to Cincinnati and Kenton County. He was a maker of shades / blinds and then a carpenter.
Please email me if you have any information on Jacob or his wife Catherine.
