Obituary: Thursday, 15 Feb 1923 - Free Press (Burlington, WI)

Mrs. W. R. Jones died on Wednesday evening of anemia at her home at 746 Lewis street after being confined to her bed for the past seven weeks, though she had been in poor health for several years past.

The deceased, whose maiden name was Ida Lincoln, was born in the town of Spring Prairie on April 21, 1855. She lived there until her marriage to Mr. Jones on Feb. 15, 1888. Mr. Jones was living in Marcy, New York at the time and they made their home in the East for ten years following their marriage. They then came West in 1898 and settled on a farm in the town of Spring Prairie, where they lived until they moved to Burlington fifteen years ago.

She is survived by her husband, William R Jones; a daughter, Mrs. Pembrook Comstock, of Spring Prairie; a sister, Mrs. Fred Hemstreet, of Elkhorn, and a niece, Mrs. Jas Allen, Lake Geneva.
