In a search of the web, there was an article posted about a Samuel Butcher and son Joshua Butcher that were killed by Indians. Samuel Butcher owned land in what I think is Rockingham County, VA. In this article, someone affiliated with the Governor of VA, wrote that Samuel and Joshua's farm was raided and they were believed to be killed.
