Myron Chase, the fifth of ten children born to Joshua Sr., and Nancy Brown Ewing. He was born in Ohio in 1858. His siblings were: William, Susan, Henry, Nancy E., Abraham Lincoln, Edwin Oliver, Frances, Kizzie and Mary Ann. He had 9 step-brothers and sisters from Joshua's marriage to Jane Clark: James, Sarah, Rebecca, Samuel Robert, Arthur Brownley, Delilah, Eliza, Joshua Jr. and John Harvey.
The family moved from Ohio about 1861 and settled in Sylvan Township, Wisconsin. The family was engaged in farming.
Married Elizabeth "Lula" Alling on Mar 20, 1880 in Kickapoo, Wisconsin. They were the parents of: Delbert "Roy", Omer, Serena, Clemma and Atley.

Myron died in Madison, Wisconsin when the hospital he was having surgery at caught fire and he was evacuated still under anesthesia. He rests in Mill Creek Cemetery with wife Elizabeth.
