Johnnie Lee Bierman, 63, of McAlester, died Thursday at his home. Born Jan. 28, 1933 in Craig to Kiser and Margaret (Wood) Bierman, he was a member of the Central Christian Church of McAlester and was a machinist. Survivors include his wife, Edith (Massengill) Bierman, McAlester; two daughters, Belva Lee Jurkovich, Greenville Tenn., Teresa Ann War, McAlester; two brothers, Hank Bierman of Mississippi and Henery Bierman of Krebs; three sisters, Lois Isabell, McAlester, Pearl Calentine, Carlsbad, N.M., Jean Wineinger, Arkansas City, Kan.; and five grandchildren, Bradly Jurkovich of North Carolina, Brandon Jurkovich of Arkansas, Anthony Janai, and Rachele War, all of McAlester. Graveside services will be 10:30 a.m. at Northtown Cemetery with Tommy Sherry officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Chaney's Funeral Home. Pallbearers include Wayne Calentine, Jr., Ben Wineinger, Gary Bookout, Jim Strange, Dole Bierman and Brandon Jurkovich. Honorary pallbearers include Frank War, John Jurkovich, and Wayne Calentine, Sr.
